How to make sausage pasta step by step

Let’s start with the sausage. Cut into pieces about 2-3 cm long. Don’t think too much about size. I want something small.

Next, thread the sausage onto the skewers. Prepare 3-5 pieces of dried pasta. Thread it through the sausage part. It looks like a mini kebab. Keep doing this until all the sausage and pasta is gone.

If there is leftover pasta on the skewer, cook it separately. Keep it simple. With salt. Cook until al dente.

While the pasta is cooking, heat the sauce. If using a jar, pour it into a pot and heat. The sauce should be very hot so that the cheese melts later.

Now take your skewered pasta. Put it in boiling water. Cook like regular pasta. It will take a while because it contains sausage, so check back every now and then. The pasta should be soft, not sticky.

When the water is cooked, pour out all the water. Water is the enemy of delicious pasta.

Place the skewers on a plate. Spoon the hot sauce on top. Sprinkle generously with grated cheese. The heat of the pasta and sauce melts the cheese quickly.

Eat warm. The cheese melts. The sausage is juicy. Spices come into play.

It’s not complicated. It’s just delicious.

Why this works

The combination of textures is important. You can chew pasta. Sausage is juicy. Cream cheese melts.

Use nigella seeds and oregano to add depth. This prevents the taste of the food from becoming bland. The tomato sauce provides a rich base. Garlic adds flavor.
