Red carpets are predictable. Usually it’s the star. Then the boyfriend. Sometimes the ex. But Jennifer Lopez is doing something else for Paris Fashion Week. She is bringing her sister. Lynda Lopez.
And they look like mirrors.
Forget the male companion trope for a minute. Lynda has been shadowing JLo everywhere lately. But the Celia Krithariotti show on Day Four of Paris Fashion week? That was the peak. July 9, 2026 saw them arrive side by side.
Both wore white. Both were dripping in crystals. Lynda went soft, leaning into a pinkish hue. JLo? She added a fur shawl for the drama. The photos are hard to take in. Not because the fashion is confusing. It’s because the faces. They are the same. Jaw-droppingly so.
It’s got everyone asking who Lynda actually is.
She is two years younger. Born in 1971 if the math checks out. She didn’t just come from nowhere though. Lynda graduated from the C.W. Post Campus of Long University. She isn’t a socialite sitting at home.
She’s a news anchor. An author too.
She won an Emmy way back in 2001. That’s before most people knew JLo had a sister at all. She co-founded Nuyorican Productions. Which means she literally produced many of Jennifer’s hits. There’s also the book on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortenz. AOC: The Fearless Rise and Powerful Resonorance. That one stuck in people’s heads.
She has a daughter. Lucie. From ex-boyfriend Adam Goldfried just by the way.
The family bond is real. They’re close. Tight. Maybe tighter now that the public is watching.
Does it matter who sits next to you at a fashion show. Maybe not. But this looks good.
Lynda is right there in the frame. Not as backup. Not as a date. Just family.
And honestly? She carries herself just fine.
